Calling Pentucket Proud Parents!

Dear Parents, Friends, and Supporters of our Pentucket High School-Athletes,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! As we begin a new school year amidst so many unknowns, the Pentucket Athletic Association (PAA) looks forward to continuing to support our student-athletes, coaches, and the Pentucket HS community. Rest assured, we will continue to be vigilant in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and will always take extra precautions to ensure the safety of our student-athletes.

For those families new to the high school, we would like to share some information about the PAA. It was founded 31 years ago in 1991 as a nonprofit volunteer parent organization that supports the athletic mission of the Pentucket Regional High School. All parents who have a student that plays a sport at Pentucket are members of the PAA; there is no membership form and/or joining fee! The main goals of the PAA are to raise funds and provide financial support to the Pentucket athletic program and the individual sport teams, to provide oversight and financial management to the 38+ sports team booster groups, and to foster and provide community service opportunities for our student-athletes.

In the last six years, the PAA has:

● Awarded $22,000 in college scholarships to student-athletes heading off to college

● Helped purchase items for the athletic program and teams such as gym banners, scoreboards, tents, mats, helmets, batting cage, uniforms, camera, shooting machine, football ‘hudl’ machine, golf cart, ice machine, and much more for our student-athletes.

During these COVID times, we anticipate more and more students needing financial support to help with college expenses and the PAA would like to continue to award our scholarships.

Your family or business name will be recognized on the PAA website and in our monthly E-Newsletters. This is an excellent way to support the PAA and 100% of all sponsor donations go directly to funding the annual college scholarships that are awarded to graduating seniors in June.
