AD’s Report
Agenda
Due to Kevin Eddy’s absence at the last three meetings those present voted to relieve him of his duties. Larry Fisher has agreed to take over as interim president but would like to have a co-chair to assist him with the duties.
PAA will also formulate a policies and procedures booklet, as well as a month by month calendar of scheduled events which will assist new PAA members as to duties and expectations.
PAA will be looking for a new treasurer/book keeper for the 2008/2009 school year as Linda Bolla will be moving on. If you are interested in taking this over from Linda please contact her at lindabolla@comcast.net for further details.
Sales are down compared to last year. Elaine will draw up a list of books ordered/sold so that we have an idea of how many books to order next year.
Linda Bolla reported that sales are down across the board (concession stands, coke machines) so it could be a sign of the times.
Deb Stephenson reported that the revised scholarship application has been sent to the guidance office. The new forms have also been posted on the PAA website.
A scholarship committee will be formed at the March or April meeting.
Jerry Mondalto, the PRSD’s facilities manager, was present at the meeting. He is working on improving the general appearance of the school as he agrees that it reflects on our students and athletes. If we have suggestions to improvements or reparations at the high school, PAA needs to create a work order through Dan Thornton rather than taking on tasks ourselves.
Meeting adjourned at 8:30pm
